World Leaders of Revolutionary Vandal Resistant Sanitaryware

Mr F C Schmidt received the Inventors and Innovators Gold Medal from the World Inventors and Innovators institute in September 2002.

The Gypsy Vandal Resistant WC Toilet Pan has received the South African Bureau of Standards Design Award in the Industrial category for the year 2002.

Mr F C Schmidt has also received the Idesa Award from the Swedish Government in February 2004 which was presented to him by Helena Nilsson, the Swedish Ambassador and Mr Don Pilkington, the Head of the International Institute of Inventors and Innovators South Africa.

Mr F C Schmidt also received the South African Premiers Honours award in March 2004 from South African Premier, Mr Marthinus van Schalkwyk and the Western Cape leader of the ANC, Mr Ebrahim Rasool.

The new lightweight Combined WC/Bidet Pan was accepted as a finalist in the 2006 SABS Design Institute Prototype Awards

Mr. Schmidt was nominated and finished one of the five finalists for the "Cape Argus Entrepreneur of the Year Award",- Awarded in 2005.

The Gypsy WC Pan has been named as one of the "Great South African Inventions"- Awarded in 2004.
